My new Reeve
I just wanted to post a couple of pictures of my new Reeve. It came just in time for me to play around with it for a bit before I ship off to England. I got it with the dark brown grip and now that it's in my hands, I'm so glad I went with that choice. The pictures really don't do it justice. It's really quite striking to look at. You may be able to tell this is my first Albion since I'm rambling like a four-year-old about it. Now I know what everyone is talking about when they talk about holding a quality sword in their hands.

Congrats Matt, I've had the pleasure of handling a Reeve a little, and it is deffinately a great sword. You made a wise choice on that one, my friend. May it give you years of enjoyment!

Congratulations! That first photo is very nice :)

I'm still waiting for the possibility of this blade mounted with a downcurved cross before I take the plunge. It is a wonderful sword in hand.
Congrats! I really like the brazil nut pommel on this sword. Enjoy.
Of all the Albion swords I'd love to get my hands on one day, the Reeve is certainly ranks high. Congrats Matt!
Thanks for the congrats, guys. I wish I had time to do some cutting but we're packing up the house these days and I don't know if I'll get the chance. I'm a huge fan of the brazil nut pommel and I just couldn't pass up this sword for my first Albion. I still can't get over how lively it is compared to my other swords. If I do manage to get any cutting done I'll try to post some pictures.
Congratulations on your new Reeve, and I wish you safe travels!
Albion is only going to make 100 Reeves. I wonder how far along the road this one is to selling out? It is a great sword and one of Albion's least expensive models.
Congratulations ! I got the Reeve during the templar sale too, and it has quickly became my favorite sword. A great looker, a great cutter. Milk jugs beware. ;)
Congratulations and enjoy your new sword. That's an excellent choice on the grip color. I like mine just a bit. :D

I have had a Reeve on order from Albion Europe since November (oxblood grip). I ordered it on a bit of a whim as it is not too expensive and looks great with its brazil nut pommel (for single handers I use to be a Viking man – now more ‘I:33 period’, so this fills in the 'time gap' a little). However, since ordering it I have read a lot of good comments about this sword, so my anticipation is growing!

Neil.
Congratulations on your Reeve! I bought one too during the Templar sale, with a magenta grip. Out of the box, the color was a little too close to hot pink for my taste, but rubbing it down with some brown shoe polish got it just right. I love how this sword feels in motion.
