Two more NextGens sold out
Hey all. I don't know how long it's been, but I was just on Albion's website and noticed that the Gotland and Clontarf swords are now sold out. Bummer. That leaves the Gaddhjalt as the last of the very first NextGen Viking swords that's still available.

Those swords were limited to 100 each, and the craftsman at Albion have learned a lot since then.

In other words, now would be a good time to scarf up a Huskarl or Hersir!

Even without the Clontarf, Vinland, and Gotland, Albion has one of the most comprehensive Viking line of swords out there...
I just placed an order for the last Clontarf that KultofAthena had in stock...
and can hardly wait for it to arrive... and yes, the Hersir looks tempting too!

I also have to add as a side note a warm thank you to all the learned folks on this forum whose input and comments (although not necessarily directly to me) have proved very helpful. Very much appreciated!
Does this mean my Gotland will now start increasing in value? -- probably not. But maybe it will decrease in value at a slower rate.

It's not like I was all that swift on this one...
I looked at it for a couple of days online before I finally decided I needed to go for it...
besides, I was doing some comparisons of other models, and realizing that I've finally got the bug in a bad way, which means I'll be having to revamp my budget to account for my new infatuation.
for now, I'm looking forward to tackling my first real remanufacturing project on either a: cold steel blade or b: tomahawk of uncertain origin (as I teenager, I was involved in American Indian reenactments, and learned to flip a tomahawk, so I've always had a fascination for them).
I used to enjoy handling that very same Clontarf at Kult of Athena. In fact I was there a couple of weeks ago with my cousin "Wishing" I could buy that very sword, knowing it was the last one!

Enjoy it Well Thomas! It found a Great Home!

Thanks Bob.
As it turns out, it will be here in time for Valentine's day...
kind of a nice touch, I'd think.

And I do intend to give it a very good home.
Everyone at my office knows it's coming, and are excited for me as well.
