To me, this sword looks like it was some sort of souvenir or book or movie tie-in. The pommel is a musketeer head. The quillons are especially interesting. They are women wearing thigh-high lace up boots and a mini skirt. They sort of look like the type of women you see in silhouette on tractor trailer mud flaps. :lol: Are these characters from a book or movie?
The grip is molded plastic meant to look like a chord or wire wrap. (Future project: replace the grip.) The ricasso is a honking huge block. The blade is stamped "China." So there is no mystery as to where it was made. I also know the blade is "surgical steel". Another marking on the blade is the word "Rostfrei". The maker perhaps?
Any info, guesses, etc. are more than welcome.
