Guys, I need some advice in choosing a sword.
I am relatively new in this forum; I am a member of the re-enactment group and we focus on the recreation of the historical swordplay of XV century, so we need two practice swords.
1. I find a long grip very practical, that why I chose XVIIIb. type. End, it is a wonderful example of this type, “The Munich”. (it is my choice for the first sword)
2. But, I want to invite the second sword with a different type of pommel (hexagonal) and a not bent cross. Maybe somebody has a photo of the historical sword of the type XVIIIb. with parameters that I am looking for?
I thought about something like AT-1561, with a simple cross and a waisted pommel. The question is, does it nave a historical prototype? http://www.christianfletcher.com/Site/AT-1561.html
Sorry for my English and thanks.
