I remember the first time I watched A Hard Day's Night. At that point, I was forever a Beatles fan.

I first heard their music on an old-time Houston-based dance show called the Larry Kane show. It was marvelous. But seeing them of Ed Sullivan was something special for a fourtenn-year-old tired of The Four Seasons and the like.
