I'm gathering some info for my pipe band. We're looking to buy a decent (not too expensive) set of dirks and sgian dubhs to be "regular issue" to members.
We're looking for reasonable historical accuracy (no flashy or poorly proportioned wallhangers) and affordable (but not necessarily bargain basement) prices. Individual members might consider custom pieces (I am) but for regular issue that's out.
Any suggestions on manufacturer?
