Most users can attach pictures to their posts. Please see the Info page, specifically the Attachment Guide. :)

As the guide says, only certain formats and sizes are allowed, unfortunately. Whenever I post pics, I have to size them down.
You can attach up to 8 properly-sized images per post. Attach your first image. Then once it's attached, simply attach another and another until you hit 8.
