Very fine work! The reviews of various practice swords blunts together is very useful for comparison of the various options available. The "Call to Arms" article is a step in a whole new direction, and a great introductory piece.

This is just what I have been waiting for, reviews of practice swords; especially the Spada da Zogho! Excellent work everyone.

Very good article and reviews: The article is particularly useful to the novice or even the non practitioner who would still like to have an idea how real swords were used. The explanation of terms is simple and clear, the progress through stances, movement, guards, attack and defence help me understand much more easily the training DVDs I have viewed and clears up some confusion when first exposed to the terminology. ( Oh, helps a lot also understanding books on the subject that even if they are much longer and detailed, are not as clearly written: Bill's article sure makes the learning curve seem less steep ! )

As usual the reviews are clear and well written and give a good idea what the product would be like if one decided to purchase.

Also, congratulations to Pamela for her first review. :cool: You might consider writing about your experiences first as a novice and then becoming a teacher to novices as well as more advance student. As well, dealing with others at your level or above in skill. :cool: :cool: :cool:

Bill, your "Call to Arms" article is absolutely terrific. I know it was a long time in the making, but it was well worth the wait. Also, my compliments to you and Nathan for the illustrations. They turned out great! Wow.
