Do You have any pictures and info about venetian style swords?(style 12 cross acording to Oakeshott's Sword in the age of chivalry) There are some pictures but not the whole lenght of the sword...What were the dimensions?What type of suspension was used? I think of buying one...beautifull weapons ;)

It's my understanding that except maybe for some decorative differences that there would be little to distiguish a "venetian" sword from a mainland Italian one. This would make sense I suppose since Venetian trade with the mainland was extensive and Venetian fashion very much copied that of the mainland. The requirements for a sword would have been essentially the same for either locale and therefore the swords probably would have looked similar.
