I just got the latest catalog from Chris and the boys up in Minnesota. It's the first one featuring that new English Longsord and that Durer sword. Also it seems that they are now offering a ballock dagger which I don't remember ever seeing before. It looks very nice indeed.

I recieved mine a few days ago. They also have several new companion daggers, #198 Gustav parrying dagger, #196 German parrying dagger & #197 Milanese parrying dagger.

No way! I missed it! I'll have to go back and look! Too cool. I wish I was like a quoted customer and all. :)

Going to have to get me one of them.

Okay folks so which one? I know that the new Albion stuff is pulling a lot of people in, in fact my next sword right after my custom order is as semi-custom sort of thing from Albion. However I've got my next order from Arms and Armor lined up too. Mine is going to be the Sword of St. Maurice. How about you? Which Arms and Armor sword are you buying next?

If I had the money at this moment, I would order the ballock dagger set - I have not seen a commercially available package like that anywhere. Just wonderful.

Most of my money is going into Albion these days, but if I were to buy something from A&A, it would be the English longsword. I am still toying with the idea of asking them to make me a custom 18th century hanger, like the original pictured below

How do you get on their catalog mailing list?

Any charge? Seems like they have a ton of great stuff in their printed catalog that isn't on their website :D

Joel I can't really speak for Gordon but I think he is probably talking about that new English longsword they have available.

Chuck I'm guessing that you just have to order from them to get the catalog, no additional charge. :) I say that based on the fact that I got Jon Granken's catalog today as well. He had a dagger shipped straight to me from them a couple of years ago.

Oooo Gustav Vasa.... been wanting to get my hands on one of those for a while... :)

I have a custom A&A coming in a few more weeks. Was due about now ,but when I checked with Craig the other day he told me they actually got a mold of a very similar original pommel that had extra detail he intially did not think of. Craig explained to me that whoever made they original really knew what he was doing and he wanted to incorporate what he had learned. This is happy circumstance because when we started the project back in July we had nothing more than a drawing to go from.

After that I think I'm going to get a Saxon Parrying Dagger. I've had my eye on it for a while.

Then late next year (Q3) I have a custom rapier design in the works with them, just gonna take time to get the funds together to get it started.

Also been toying with the idea of having them make some throwing axes for me. Still the rapier will be the next big project and I'm really looking forward to it. This summer I managed to handle a good number of their pieces at the Bristol Faire and the rapiers (all of them) were really marvelous.
