Del Tin's dirk

I have the opportunity to acquire an older Del Tin scottish dirk.

Does anyone have any opinion on the quality and authenticity of this piece?

In my opinion, the proportions of it alone make it not very authentic. If it's the one I remember handling years ago, it's quite large.
