A few weeks back while I was running around at the local Va. Renfaire playing a noble. a couple of the the local antique collector chaps had a booth set up. Local blade-smith and very distant relation Will Goodwin had a Sinclair hilt that he had fashioned, mounted up to an old re-worked,Chinese broadsword blade he had laying around. This his his first attempt at making a somewhat "complex"hilt. He has a very small forge with which he usually make daggers, dirks and the like.
Just thought I'd share his handy work and get some other opinions. Another pic I'll post is of the booth that Will and Gary Hall had set up, lots of antique stuff dating from WW II back the 1400's.
Cheers,
Bill G.
