I haven't looked at Jakes' site in quite a while. I really like some of the work he's doing.
I can't seem to link the pics here, but check them out at his website:

Damn. that's some fancy grip work. I have never seen anything like it before. most weren't exactly my style of sword but they were very impressive non the less. I want to be able to do stuff like that when i start my forge. :D
I also really loved the type X he has sketched, it look a little like one of Patrick's, very cool.

I looked at his Work In Progress section and saw that he is starting to work on a Xa that must be a replica of that famous Xa.1 from Oakeshott's Records. Now that should be something.

Not really my style either, but very cool and unique nevertheless. Gives a feel of "historical fantasy", if you know what I mean.

Very true, kinda makes me think of a forest on a sunny day.
Personally I think that Jake is one of those sleepers, guys that do extraordinary work but have not gotten nearly enough press. The man appears to have some serious talent. Hopefully in a few months I'll be able to tell you first hand. I can tell you that he is very nice to work with.
He certainly seems to have found an interesting niche. Doing nice stuff there too.
I bet that basket hilt is gonna be nice...
