A couple years ago I picked up a nice sword on Ebay with an early Albion makers mark. I sat down to document some of my more recent acquisitions the other day and can't decide whether this sword is a standard first generation model or a moat blade creation. If anyone has an opinion or perhaps even assembled this sword, please let me know.
The sword has a type D (cocked hat) pommel and has a very similar style and feel to my first generation Crecy Grete Swerde. This small XIIa sword came to me with an oxblood grip and nice embossed oxblood scabbard. The furniture is blued and showing some even wear.
Thanks!

Looks like an early Albion offering - see attached pic.
