I liked it. So much, I ordered one for myself! But to mix things up a bit, I asked for a version with an iron pommel. This has been underway for a while and should be done soon. Here is a preview of the design and a progress shot.

Congratulations J.D. Eric did a great job on the first.That is such a beautifully proportioned sword. I am looking forward to seeing Version 2.0 of it!

Yeah, its a really classic XII, just scaled up. These are the stats for V1 from Eric's website:

Eric is one helluva craftsman too. He builds a magnificent sword and I'm sure this will be no exception!

The hilt looks like steel.. Earlier you stated it would be done in iron. Is the iron just very clean?

The attention to detail on both cleaning up the blemishes and the peen is amazing.
