I picked this workshopy silver hilt hanger from Anthony Cribb recently. It's a curious piece. Blade is marked both sides IOHAN MILGEN IHN SOLINGEN. I wondered if anyone had any encounters with this maker or use of the name. I am assuming dating around 1740sish? Interesting bright cut engraving and field repair on the guard.
