I recently purchased a 1930's era KT frock coat. Please help me identify which buttons that should be used on this coat. Where there patches that also belong on the sleeve. Any help is appreciated.

What, precisely, are you trying to do here?
Because the Knights Templar were ancient history by the 1930's--or any time a coat like that would have been used.

Hey. The Templar Coats I've seen have black cloth covered tux style buttons. Fancy embroidered crosses would be sewn on the cuff area of the sleeves. Search "Templar Coat" on etsy.
Hope this helps, W

I think these questions are best asked of a Mason who has achieved the rank of Knight Templar. This forum is probably not the right place to get the answer.
Today's Masonic "Knight's Templar" outfits have no relevance stylisticly to what the original knights wore.

It looks like the buttons were quite plain:

Just google "Knights Templar Frock Coat" for some examples.
