I've never been particularly interested in cutlasses, but seeing the bare blade in an Albion moat sale gave me some ideas :cool: . The guard and pommel are bronze cast from 3d printed PLA designed fittings by yours truly, and the grip is wrapped in real samegawa stained oxblood. I may revisit a variation of this design in the future, but it’s truly one of a kind! Blade was finished and sharpened by Wes Beem, but since it was a moat blade there are some imperfections in the polish.

I had intended to keep this in my personal collection but circumstance is forcing my hand.
