Here's a new piece available from Paladin Forge: a cut & thrust made from a Hanwei/Tinker bastard blade with fuller. The guard and pommel are mild steel, with a mirror polish. The blade is sharpened and polished, but still shows some of the original marks that were pretty deep. I didn't want to get too aggressive when polishing and sharpening it. The sword is peened. The scabbard and handle are poplar with blue leather wraps. The sword fits snugly in the scabbard and will not fall out when held upside down, but is still easy to draw.

The price is $325 US plus shipping. The suspension straps seen in the photos are not attached yet, I will configure them for left or right-handed draw before shipping. I have a h/t bastard with fuller that I plan to treat very similarely. It would be very similar to the dimensions of the Red Dragon single hander. Glad to see this is not unknown territory.

The price seems very good, but I will stubbornly try my own hand at it.
