Check out this link for some more new Del Tin Models - http://www.deltin.it/news.htm -- There is also an announcement on the website stating that scabbards will be available again. I'm not sure when they stopped making them - surely some time ago.
Some of those swords look promising. I wish the photos were more extensive.
I saw those the other day. I am very curious about the 14th century sword with the triple fullers. It has a short central fuller that stops after a few inches, and the outside fullers merge. I have never seen that before, but it is kind of interesting. Does anyone know of an historical precident for multiple fuller in that configuration? I'm not doubting veracity here, I have just never seen it before.

You got me on those triple fullers. Maybe I'll consult one of my Oakeshott books and see if I find anything. I do like Del Tin's new offerings, especially that 14th century one (#5149). That smallsword is a gem!

I agree, I e-mailed him about that last friday, but I am still waiting to hear more...
The triple fullered longsword strongly reminds one of the Del Tin offered by MRL back in the early 1990's. There was a local 14th century inn and village outfit that would put on combat shows for the public that used a couple of those older DT/MRL swords. I wonder if this is that same design revived?
I really like the Dussak. Shell guards just hit me where I live I guess. Baselard looks promising as well. I've always liked DT's offerings when it came to most of their daggers and knives. One exception, the redesign of the scramasax. The Makiejowski choppers could be interesting. Particularly the large glaive like one. DT may still part me from my hard earned dockets. I know I know! Sacrelige!! Here I work at Albion and I'm saying I would by from DT...Hey we do sell DT stuff. :)
