After your opinions and some others, I've decided to tackle this project by myself.

I'm not really big on Japanese weapons, but THAT is beautiful! You did an excellent job of breathing new life into an old blade. Your polish job is first rate. :D ....McM

It did take a lot of patience, especially the seemingly endless grinding/polishing got really tiresome after a while.
Did not enjoy that part very much after a few days/hours, but really liked doing all the rest though :)
