KOA has a new release from Deepeeka called the 'Outrider' Bowie, in the 'new additions' section. Looks to me like this might make an excellent choice for making a large seax.....with a little work. For $25 bucks, you don't have much to loose. A little careful re-profiling of the blade and a different grip....why not. I would post a link if I were not a compu-dummy. Wouldn't take much to make a decent Anglo Saxon or Norse style sax/seax out of it. Not bad for $25.

Thanks for putting that link up, Arne! I'm just about useless when it comes to such. :lol: But, yeah....For $25 bucks, if you mess it up...go chuck it at a tree and get in some throwing practice. I figure most of the re-profiling would be on the top spine, away from the edge. Would look great with some filework and maybe some runes. A new grip would be a MUST-DO. Give the leather to the dog for a chew toy. :lol: .......McM
