I am looking for info on this type X sword. I believe it is in a museum in Brussels... I am especially keen to get any info regarding the inlay in the blade. Pictures or drawings would be best. Thanks for any help....

What a sword--! It looks like one of the ones analyzed from the Peter Johnsson geometry thread. Are you thinking about getting it reproduced?

Yes, it is one of the swords from the other thread and I am thinking of getting it made. I have had my eye on this sword for a long time and seeing it in the other thread has helped me decide to get it done. I didn't want to hijack the other thread looking for info so I started this one....
Tim, did you find any more info on this?
Apparently at the 'Armoury of the Dukes of Burgundy', here are some more pictures:

no idea why that page is describing it as that.
those items are in the Koninklijk Legermuseum / Musée Royal de l'Armée, Brussels.
Thanks Doug, I have seen those pics already. My real interest is if there is inlay, and what that inlay is. I haven't come up with anything at all...
Thanks to JG Elmslie too! If I'm ever in Brussles, I know where to visit!
