I have to admit I am very ignorant of type of swords that would have been used during the Lusitanian revolt (2nd century B.C.). I am interested in learning more about them and possibly doing a recreation, but I am having trouble finding sources for these weapons. Most of the articles I find are about earlier swords or La Tene swords. Can any of you Celtic-Iberian scholars steer me in the right direction. Thanks.
Fernando Quesada-Sanz is probably the foremost expert on ancient Iberian weapons. He's published several works, although most of them are in Spanish. He is publishing an English-language book on the topic, though it won't be out until Spring next year: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/weapons-warri...PLGoP62464
