Hi Guys,
This is a bow from a few weeks ago that I forgot to post up and I hope you like it. Any questions or comments of course please fire away.
This is a fairly typical bow for the 14thC from Germany, Switzerland, Bohemia etc and is chracterised by its curvaceous stock, in this case in cherry with bone and horn detailing.
The long trigger is also a very typical chracteristic of this type of bow as is of course the composite bow itself. This bow ia in fact a steel bow that has been covered to make it look like a composite and covered in linen and painted.
The string is waxed linen and the bridle is in hemp, the nut is antler and bound on with waxed hemp cord.
The bolts are 3 feathered for cost and 3 fully authentic wood fletched bolts with forged heads.
The bow is a touch under 300lbs and is all I can manage with a spanning belt.

Is there no end to your talent? That is awesome! 300 pound draw, huh? Wow....That'd keep the neighbors cat out of your yard! What would a tidy little package like this set a person back, per say?..................McM
