I am considering getting a Wulflund Celtic blunt sword for stage combat use. Specifically one of these -

Does anyone have any input on these swords? I realize that they are a little overbuilt with not much distal taper. The main point with me is their durability - strong nick-resistant edges, hilts that won't get loose, blades that won't shatter. If you can say anything in this regards about Wulflunds in general, I's appreciate it.

I'm also considering the Windlass Classic Hoplite - http://kultofathena.com/product.asp?item=500734 - from what I've read, it seems pretty durable, even with it's unsharp edges. Yes, not historically accurate. But it will probably get the job done, at least for one production.

Well, they're all very much fantasy swords. The first one is sort of based on a pre-celtic bronze sword, and the second one actually says "fantasy". Why not get something more accurate from Windlass or Wulflund? Unless the production you mention is a fantasy, of course!

Have you tried contacting KoA to see if they have had any returns or complaints from customers about these swords when used in such a function? Just a thought.
