Hello all-

I noticed yesterday that the Rock Island Auction Co. recently auctioned off some armor attributed to Qaitbay, Sultan of Egypt (1468-1496). The armor was expected to bring 200 to 500K, but it finally sold for 2.3 million! Here's the link:

Interesting! As far as I know only armour that is attributed to the Memluk sultan Kayutbay is in the second floor of the Naval Museum in Beşiktaş, İstanbul.
