Alvin DS single handed cuts. After totally modded its edge geometry, it can now do my single handed cuts. Heat treat is still the major problem. Sword can't hold edge well.
Why does that sword cannot hold its edge well? Does it shake when you swing it?

Because it may not be heat treated. The sword was made from a used truck spring leaf, with hole in the blade plugged to show that. Hardness is 40hrc around, so can't hold the edge well. No, it doesn't shake when I swung it though. I poured glue into the hilt to make it tight.
