I have just moved to Georgia, the country. What are some interesting Medieval museums, sites that I should see while here? There are plenty of monasteries and castles, which are on the list, but I want to solicit answers in anyway.

How about you show photos of yourself while in Georgia. Plus don't forget to take photos of swords kept in that country's museums.

Interesting! I've considered going there to teach English someday, they have some nice programs for that. Georgia's a beautiful country with a magnificent language.

In terms of Georgian arms and armor, I really don't know much. It's hard to find info on the medieval stuff, most of what's available is later. That said, the Khevsurs had (have?) a very interesting martial culture with a unique fighting style and an inordinate fondness for swords and mail (which sometimes covered even the eyes). They seem to have used these well into the 18th century if not later, possibly in combat.
