I was recently fortunate enough to meet Harlan Hastings a couple weeks ago. While on the trip, he was nice enough to show me a few of his edgy toys. One such toy was his Vince Evans early Scottish dirk. I guess Harlan could see just how much I liked this piece, so he offered to sell it to me.
Well, needless to say, it's now mine all mine!
Here's some preliminary photos I just took just to share:

I'll be posting more about it later, but wanted to get a few images up for those who've recently asked about it.
Cheers.

Nice. I had the pleasure of handling one of Harlan's Evens dirks a couple of years ago. I can't remember whether it was that particular piece or not. In any case it was a fantastic piece. Congratulations, Nathan.
Nathan and I have had this discussion before, but this is my favorite dirk reproduction.
Great piece.
(Must ignore jealousy...)

I really like this particular Dirk. It has a very nice early era design that appeals to me. It also has a very nice handy feel to it.
