Hi guys ...
I want to know something about this sword... I don't know exactly what it is.. seems like a two handed chopper to me but maybe I'm wrong.. there's no guard.. no grip...
And do you know where can I find something similar ?

Maybe a type of mace, instead of a sword?.............McM
Compare to this example with hand guard.

To me it looks alot like the 'Medieval chopper' it appears several times in the Maciejowski bible.

Aren't we dealing with about a fifty year discrepancy between these two illustrations?
Itīs basically a Falchion like chopper, iīve handled one and itīs an awesome weapon.
You donīt want to get hit by one because the damage will be enormous, even with gambeson and mail.

Yes. And if you consider the Macijowski examples at c. 1250, The Willehalm at c. 1300, and the Alexander at c. 1350 we've got a full century spread.
DelTin makes a couple-

Stage Combat has one-

There are like a million topics on that style of weapon too. Search for chopper...

Neat! I've never seen those flavors of the Morgan Bible war cleavers before - it would be great if more makers were interested in producing them. I've seen the Del Tins and the Stage Combat repros before, but these look much better in terms of quality.
