After many hours with the hammer and especially the file i finally finished one of my favourite types of weapons.
59 cm long, 7 mm wide at the 'nagel'.
Forged carbon steel blade, ca C-0,8%, differentially hardened at the lower 1/3.
About 28 degrees convex/"zero grind" edge with a thick back gives great cutting potential for its size.
Forged and filed brass bolsters, 'nagel' and 'knauf'.
The number three reoccurs in decorations and details such as hand-made mosaic rivets and filings.

Really lovely work. This style of knife is currently my favorite thing in the world :)
Especially nice with the curved plate piece instead of a pommel integrated with the slabs.
I see this feature so often in originals, but less often in repros. Again, great work!

great work and lovely details (rivets, nagel).
Nice!
I can see you have put in an effort with this one, on several levels. The result speaks well for itself and your dedication.

neat little mosaic rivets, their a nice little accent that shows a personalization or uniqueness of hand made craftsmanship.
i just started to look into these knives myself for my own recreation, its great to see other modern interpretations of the knife style.
