This particular Doge sword was purchased for in-house scabbard making use only. It has never been used for cutting, or any use other than scabbard making, and is in immaculate condition. The wood core is an apprentice built wool lined core with construction assisted by master craftsman Brian Kunz. It was prepped with oak tanned cowhide leather by the same apprentice, along with the chape. If at the very least you have yourself a nice wool lined wood core for storage and or display, and for you do-it-yourself crafty people it's a nice starter kit.
