It leads to a great research note by Michel Pétard about a 1750-1760's sword maker sign from La Rochelle. French text only, but there is a wealth of detailed photos. This is some king of condensed catalog of the swords in favor during those decades. The two gorgets as well as the hunting sword belt are also of great interest.
