I have a couple practice bucklers made from round plywood with a drawer handle screwed to the back. I'd like to make a more authentic one, with a shield boss, and a straight wooden handle. Hs anyone used a GDFB boss for this, and if so, what size do I need? I assume the measurements are edge to edge, and they don't indicate the size of the dome interior.

Thank's guys,

If you're handy with a hammer, you can make your own boss from a stainless steel pet food bowl. I made a Viking shield like that once.......dog bowl, plywood, chamois cloth, upholstery tacks. Looked pretty decent :wtf: ........considering it cost me about eight bucks to build. The GDFB bosses are good......but they get really good looking after a few hits. Just my opinion..........McM
