I am searching basically any info on this visor, from which book is the picture with inscription, is it a real 15. century piece, if so would it be fastened to bascinet, sallet, or some other type of helmet, also is it in a museum (which one), private collection, auction house, etc...

Any help would be appreciated

That italian visor is quite intimidating

The strange thing is that this visor has no breath holes, and that the eye slots seem to offer a limited view (unlike other bascinet visors where they are longer and have holes on the base).
Any thought? Maybe an unfinished piece of equipment?

The more I watch this visor, the more it reminds me of this transitional helmet from ending of the 15.century
