Hey all,
I have what I believe to be a Indo-Persian helmet and shield from the 17-19th century. They have a lot of surface rust and I would like to clean them but i am afraid of causing damage due to lack of knowledge. Any suggestions? Thanks.
A photo. of the surface condition would help as it would indicate the procedure to be followed. I would suggest that you avoid mechanical cleaning and use a chemical treatment to be determined by the surface condition.
