Hello all,

Is there an online resource for historical coat of arms from say, 13th-16 century? I'd like to find a coat of arms that had been in use during the early 15th century and late 15th century particularly.

This should fit the bill. For my curiosity, what's your plan for the arms? Are you looking at a particular family or individual whose arms you want to emulate or evoke?

Yes, I'd like to find an example that actually existed for my 1415 kit and my late 1480 kit. I'd rather select something that I can accurately document, rather then creating my own, that so many others have.

Here you can see original coat of arms from Transylvania, Wallachia and Moldavia. The site is in romanian language but just search in the right combo box labelled "Forma" for "Steme din sec. XIV , or Steme din sec. XIV-XV , or Steme din sec. XV ". Also "Stema lui" + Name = Coat of arms of + Name
