As I wrote earlier in the thread, that all-damascus steel hilt was a rather tricky piece to make. But now as I have one such hilt “under my belt”, the next one will have to be made in a different way – a cast bronze hilt sounds rather tempting…

-And speaking of temptations, now that I still have that sosun pattah sword, I must say that I am very, VERY tempted to try some test cutting with it as well!
