As the waters of the Thames slowly wash against the banks of this ancient city, I trawl my fires and dredge from the depths the creations of my toil.........
From the fertile waters of the mind to the hard cold face of the anvil , beaten, twisted and trialled in fire.
My latest Hoard.

Wow - really like some of those. Will they come hafted?
Hi, the axes can come hafted or not .
some customers prefer to make up their own handles.
I generally make fire blackened ash handles, I started doing this because its almost impossible for a blacksmith to handle ash without getting mucky fingerprints on nice white ash!! Its now my standard finish, its very durable and brings out the grain giving a little more grip.

Wow. Those look great my friend!!! Are the pattern welded ones just patterned on the edge or the whole thing?
thanks .
2 are completely pattern welded . one is an edge insert and one an edge wrap.....
I have deep etched from forge finish (aftwer a tumble in abrasive medium) and then hot waxed . there is no surface grinding so the damascus is subtle.
I rusted one and I loved it but my experience has been that people do not want rusty axes (shame)...
