I recently ordered the triple fullered XII.1 from Tried and True. I'm very excited about it. I did an upgrade on the pommel so that I could be cool and put something in it like what Shooter Mike did. Check his sword out if you haven't seen it yet

I don't want to copy either of these guys, but I'd like to make use of the J.1 style pommel.

Any ideas of something I could put in this pommel?

What are some things you've seen done in the past?

Almost anything can go in them, I am mounting some amber in mine, but you could do enamel work, a metal ‘plug’, coat of arms, gemstones etc.

Here is a replica of an ancient Greek coin inside my Sovereign pommel. The head depicts the Thessalian nymph Larissa. I got it from Armart in the Czech Republic. I'm not sure if they are still in business.
