Wagner's publication of I.33
I was just cruising through Amazon, and came upon Wagner's publication of I.33 (I.33 is a Royal Armouries manuscript, and one of the earliest treatises on fighting). Is Wagner's version of it worth picking up?

Thanks!
It absolutely is, but keep in mind it isn't the translation of I.33, but an interpretation. If you want the translation, pick up The Medieval Art of Swordsmanship by Dr. Jeffrey Forgeng. It's worth having both together.

By the way, you probably want to buy straight from Chivalry Bookshelf rather than Amazon. I've heard many people have had problems with the fact that Amazon says they have the books in stock when they don't really, and it takes months to get it.

Bill,
Thanks for the info and tips. I may pick up one or both of them down the road. I just ordered "Sword in Hand" from Amazon, which they call a "special order." They think it will ship in November. I would have ordered directly from A&A, but I had an Amazon gift certificate.
