Do you have some infos about late medieval machines that helped making armour? For example hammering machines.
How were they made and how did they function?

I can remember a documanry form some years back, it didn't show a power hammer but employed what looked like a roller mill similar to what is used in steel mills today to squeeze molten metal done to a particular thickness.

I would search around the topic of ancient water mills and see what it comes us with. in fact i just typed it in to wikipedia and it brings up an image of a stone cutting water mill. And I do remember the same documentary showed a hammer mill powered by water somewhere in china (but this was used for crushing grain into flower not iron)
