I have had my eye on this halberd from Lutel for some time now.

I love the long spike on the top and the outward curve of the axe portion of the weapon. Sadly, I can't find any original pieces that resembles this. I have been looking at halberds on a few museum websites and anywhere else I can find them. Sadly, I can't recall seeing any that closely resemble this one.
Is there a piece that closely resembles this halberd historically?
Thanks much,
Eric
Look at the later-period examples (16/17th centuries) for some things resembling the style.
The originals the Lutel repro is modeled from are examples from the late 16th century, and are most commonly associated with the guards of the Elector of Saxony in Northern Germany. Some of my favorite styles personaly.
