Just wondering what people around here use for clothing points? it's hard to find any accurate ones that don't have a plastic tip like on shoe laces.

Any links to places that sell them or give directions on how to make would be great. :)

(I know Historic Enterprises has an arming points kit but they appear to be more for armour points and are sold out anyway.)

i use the same HE ones. i have some finger braided ones that have brass aglets on them as well

I'm using the ones from matuls. They are sold by a local merchant.

I make them myself with finger loop braiding from thick linen thread. For armor you can use leather points as well. For portraying nobility you can use braided silk points. The metal tips (aiglets) are best riveted with small brass nails on to the points.

probably going to go with Nina and Konrads laces, since they have ones made of silk and I need some for a poor knights doublet.
