I've seen lots of pics of what Ulfbhert / Ingelrii style blade inlays look like today. But I was wondering if anyone TODAY has forged any such blades and polished them ? I'd like to see some pics of this style of inlay as it would have appeared to the original owners. I know there are blades manufactured today with Ulfbhert / Ingelrii *etched* into the blades, but thats not what I want to see. I would like to see inlays - I *suspect* the inlays would be appear somewhat similarly to the tempering lines on a polished katana ??- visible but fairly subtle ??
