Another scabbard from the Custom Sword Shoppe :D :D :D
This one was fun. It took longer to do than I told the customer but in the end I think (I Hope) he will be happy with it.
Let me know what you think.
Note: (I haven't finished the chape completely yet but I wanted to go ahead and get some pictures posted)

Looks pretty sharp!
Hi Sonny,
I think you have done a fantastic job on this one! But then I might be prejudice. Well worth the short wait! It looks like a great match to the grip colour too. I’m very happy that you found it interesting as I have a couple of different scabbard projects in mind for this year.
Warm Regards,
Robert

Your work seems to get better and better! This one is very pretty.

Just a question: When you make a scabbard for a customer's sword do you keep a pattern you might use for a swordless commission of another scabbard for the same sword for another customer ?
Obviously this would only work when makers are very predictable in the making of the same model sword like Albion or A & A and maybe OlliN ?
This would mean that one need not send one's sword to you for scabbard making as this is not always practical especially for foreign buyers who want to avoid back and forth shipping over borders and possible added taxes or customs duties.
In some cases having the sword shipped directly to you for scabbard making could be an option but not very appealing if it delays getting one's sword by too long a period.
Very nice work by the way. :D
