At one time I had a link to a company that featured tomahawks but I've since lost it. Any one out there have some good links form me to wander through? I'm looking for a nice piece to match with a flintlock pistol I'm building.

If you want a 'hawk there is always American Tomahawk at http://www.americantomahawk.com/. The front page has one of their more contemporary designs, but if you go to products you will see that they produce an 18th Century line called "Roger's Rangers." I don't know about the level of historical accuracy but I have heard they produce quality products.

RMJ forge makes beautiful, historic hawks but they no longer take custom orders and are very hard to come by. Two other good custom hawk makers that I know of are Michael McCarthy:

I bought an H&B Shawnee and I couldn't be happier. I live in a very dry climate and the handle shrunk a bit, but a sinew wrap solved any issues with the head coming loose.

H&B Forge are great, after purchasing a smallsword I intend on getting more of their weapons. great stuff...

I myself got a RMJ hawk, they're out there and I saw two on Blade Art for sale, and on ebay 3 have popped up in the last few months :) keep your eyes peeled and you'd get one of the best hawks you'll ever have.
