I added two more montage videos here of two swords..one pattern-welded and one wootz.

They're beautiful Ric! A fitting display for the wootz blade.
Those are lovley swords Ric! If you don't mind my asking what is the combo of steels you used on the shamshir? Oh and was the gentleman who hilted the wootz blade also a swordsmith?

In that particular shamshir I used O1 and L6, but I use mostly steel I smelt now and on occasion 1095 and 15N20.
Gopilal dos forge swords, but last I heard he was making pieces for his family to hold onto and study. He is from a tradition of smiths going back four or five generations I think and they wish to have some good pieces for study when he passes.
