So hey, now that this week is finally over and I have a moment to type up a response I wanted to say thanks again to everybody for the happy birthday wishes. Birthdays aren't as anticipated as they were when I was a kid, but they do have a few good things about them: being with friends, celebrating and having a good time, and realizing through the well wishes of others the impact made on others is there. Anyway, thanks for that.

So, as it turns out, I did get myself a birthday present. It wasn't really planned that way, but the dates work out in such a way that I got a phone call on my birthday telling me something was being shipped. That was a nice surprise. that something arrived today.

Let me guess....a new sweater? ;) How about some pictures...?
